The theme of our meeting centered on innovation, equity, and sustainability recognizes that complex problems rarely yield to isolated efforts. Sustainable progress demands integrative thinking that balances immediate needs with long-term implications, values inclusion as both an ethical imperative and a practical necessity, and deploys innovation responsibly to improve lives. The conference has received 250 papers from various institutions across the state.
The conference is being conducted for 2 days first day being offline session having 4 tracks consisting 5 session and second day online session with a total of 2 tracks with 40 participants.
This conference aspires to produce tangible outcomes scholarly publications, policy briefs, collaborative projects, and practical toolkits that translate dialogue into action. We encourage attendees to form enduring collaborations, to carry forward lessons learned into their institutions and communities, and to sustain the spirit of inquiry and openness fostered here.
The Department of MBA and Research Centre at SJC Institute of Technology (SJCIT) successfully organized the “Nexus Symposium – An Interdisciplinary Management Research Forum (NS-IMRF’26)”, cantered on the theme “Transforming Management in Times of Disruption”. The event served as a premier platform for students and research scholars to exchange innovative ideas and address contemporary management challenges.
The symposium was inaugurated with divine blessings and witnessed the presence of the institution’s leadership Principal Dr. G T Raju and Administrative Officer Mr. Rangaswamy G R. In his opening address, Head of the Department Dr. I G Srikanth highlighted the significance of the symposium and its far-reaching implications for student career development. Dr. Nandhini L presented the preamble of the event, outlining its objective to foster interdisciplinary research, noting that the forum received 250 papers from various institutions across the state.
The Chief Guest, Sri Srinivas B V, Managing Director of Aspartika Biotech Pvt. Ltd. and Director of Somey’s Kitchen Pvt. Ltd., delivered an inspiring address. He emphasized that the growth of the economy is deeply rooted in research and encouraged students to engage in rigorous inquiry across all domains, positioning themselves as future leaders.
Delivering the presidential remarks, Dean Academics Dr. Manjunath Kumar B H provided valuable insights into how research and publications significantly enhance applied knowledge and open doors to better career opportunities. He lauded the Department of MBA for creating such a robust platform for students.
The event featured intensive research presentations across multiple tracks evaluated by an external panel, including Mr. Badrinath D (Principal, Sahyadri Degree College, Kolar), Mr. Manjunath Swamy (Assistant Professor, Swami Vivekananda Degree College, Sidlaghatta), Dr.Shashikala (Assistant Professor, Regional College of Management Studies, Chikkaballapur), and Mr. Chandrasekhar (National Degree College, Bagepalli). They were supported by alumni experts Mr. Vinay, Ms. Preethi, Ms. Tejaswini and Mr. Harish Gowda N.
The successful execution of this two-day symposium comprising offline sessions across four tracks and online sessions was led by an dedicated organizing team under the guidance of Dr.Srinivasa G (Research Committee), Dr.Nandhini L (Program Convenor) and other faculty coordinators, including Professor Venkatesh, Professor ManjunathNaik (Track 3 & Technical Committee), Professor Shruthi, Dr.Padmavathi (Online Tracks), Professor Vani (Stage Committee) and Dr.Venkat Raghav S (Track 2, Digital & Media).
